Cliff Park Community Church (CPCC) meets at the primary school next door to Cliff Park Ormiston Academy, the high school to which the hampers were donated. Church members have been collecting sweet and savoury Christmas treats to fill the hampers, including mince pies and Christmas cake. The hampers were to be given out along with supermarket vouchers, also donated by the church Thirty large hampers were assembled in total, and will be distributed to families identified by the school. The distribution was facilitated by Gary Pillar who is both an Assistant Principal at the high school and a member of the church The Principal of the school, Mr Harry French, wrote in a post on X (previously Twitter) “a huge thank you to Cliff Park Community Church who have kindly donated 30 beautiful hampers to @cliffparkOA and @OrmistonAcads families this Christmas” Photo above of Gary Pillar and other members of the Cliff Park Ormiston Academy community with some of the hampers.
