Based in the heart of Ormesby St Margaret, The Chapel Coffee House is an initiative of Light of Life Baptist Church, run mainly by volunteers from the church and the community. Our vision is to be a welcoming and peaceful place for people to come and be together

During 2015 we gave The Chapel a makeover, invested in new furniture and equipment, trained up our volunteers and appointed our Café Manager

CHAPEL COFFEE HOUSEAs well as serving delicious food and drink, the Chapel Coffee House offers free Wi-Fi, Fairtrade products on sale, a Children’s Corner with lots of lovely books and toys, and a pre-loved shop. The café is non-profit, and all the proceeds from our pre-loved shop go to nominated charities

We run lots of events, including craft mornings, games mornings and a book club – check out
www.chapelcoffeehouse.org.uk or find us on Facebook

The café is open Thursdays and Fridays 10:30-14:00 and Saturdays 10:00-13:00, offering superb coffee and great homemade food to our customers using Fairtrade and locally sourced products where possible

PRAYERS ASKED FOR

We are hoping to appoint a paid person to help us disciple our church and serve the local community during 2018

OUR CHURCH AND ITS LIFE

We are a warm, lively and loving church with a very active membership. Our church family is made up of people of all ages. We have a very relaxed feel, we love eating together and are nurturing a growing healing ministry. Our primary focus is upon growing fruitful disciples

CAUSES FOR REJOICING

We continue to grow – both by winning new Christians and integrating newcomers to the area. The Chapel Coffee House has gone from strength to strength, providing a valued meeting place and attracting grant funding

OUR STRENGTHS

A loving, friendly family with a broad range of gifted and mobilised people
