Join Yarmouth prayer zoom for schools

The Identity Youth Project, which covers Yarmouth and Gorleston, is hosting a prayer gathering via Zoom this Thursday to mark National Prayer for Schools Day, and all are welcome to join the gathering

The online prayer meeting will run from 7pm to 8pm on Thursday 22 September

Matt Ashpole, Youth Work Leader with Identity, said, “This will be a great space to join with other Christians and lift up the local schools in our area and their needs to our loving heavenly Father. You are most welcome to be a part of this prayer gathering and we would love to see you there”

Matt also explained that there are daily prayer points specific to individual schools within the area on the Identity social media channels. “Please do be praying regardless of whether you can attend the gathering or not” he said

The National Day of Prayer for Schools is a day set aside by the Pais movement and Youthscape to pray for schools and the young people in them. They say “We believe that God has a heart and a plan for the schools in our communities, and for the students and staff who work in them. Whatever our connection to our local schools, whether as a youth worker, parent, teacher, or student, let’s come together and pray that God to be at work in and through our schools”
